Metroon

Metroon lay in the Altis, in the northeast of the temple of Zeus, in the east of the Heraion, right in front of the terrace of the Treasuries. Metroon was a small building dedicated to the worship of the Mother of the Gods, dating around 400 BC. The peripteral temple of Doric order had six columns in the narrow sides and eleven in the long sides.
