The Ancient Agora of Athens comes to life through texts and adhesive images in this original publication of educational content by FHW. The young readers familiarize themselves with the buildings and the functions of the Agora, in a pleasant and educational way. Buildings like the Tholos, the Old Bouleuterion, the Hephaisteion, the Stoa of Zeus Elephtherios and the Poikile Stoa come to life through the Foundation's scientifically accurate three-dimensional reconstructions. In addition, starting with buildings, children learn about the birth and operation of democracy. For example, they learn about ostracism, a procedure closely related to democracy, which took place in ancient Athens, the operation of courts, with the judges' votes and the hourglass, the institution of the Archon Basileus, whose seat was in the Royal Stoa in the area of the Agora.
