Every Sunday morning Hellenic Cosmos hosts educational programmes for children 5 to 12 years old, which are designed and implemented by FHW's special museum educators.

Taking as their starting point the ancient Greek world, mythology, art, fairy tales and many other issues these programmes aim at promoting communication and creativity in an entertaining way. Nature and contemporary everyday life are the inspiration for yet another cycle of educational programmes which wish to increase the public’s awareness of issues, such as the weather, time, being different, recycling.

Through discussions, games and various constructions, as well as audiovisual stimuli, and most of all, through the children’s active participation, the programmes activate their imagination and creativity.
