 Leonardo, the geniousThe exhibition "Leonardo, the genious" was hosted at Building 5 of the cultural centre Hellenic Cosmos from January 31st to April 16th 2006.
The exhibition presented the machines of the great artist and inventor of the Renaissance Leonardo da Vinci, in natural size wooden models. The exhibits cover a wide range of Leonardo's daily activities, from his effort to fly to dealing with soldiers' needs during battles. The exhibition is structured according to the four natural elements (earth, air, fire, water), which excited Leonardo's interest. Furthermore, there is a fifth unit, which deals with the mechanisms that were studied and processed by da Vinci in order to be incorporated into more complex machines.
