The Helladic culture is the better known part of the Bronze Age on the southern
Greek Mainland and has been subdivided into three stages using chronological
and cultural criteria: the Early (3200-2100 BC), the Middle (2100-1550 BC) and
the Late Bronze Age (1550-1050 BC), also known as Early Helladic, Middle Helladic
and Late Helladic or Mycenaean periods.
